摘要:In this talk, a class of nonlinear coupled models, such as thermistor problem, thermally coupled nonlinear Darcy or Hele-Shaw flows, thermally coupled Newtonian and non-Newtonian flows, coupled turbulent fluids, semiconductor device equations with Joule heating and Maxwell equations with heating are introduced firstly. Then the thermally coupled nonlinear Darcy flow is considered particularly, both classic and mixed variational formulations and their finite element approximations combined with fixed point algorithm are presented. Existence and uniqueness of the solutions are established. Finite element analysis with the corresponding error estimates is given. Numerical results are presented confirming the expected rates of convergence and illustrating the influence of the exponent of the nonlinear power law constitutive equation.

报告人简介:1982年和1985年在山东大学数学系计算数学专业分别获得学士、硕士学位,1985-1992年在东南大学数学系工作,1995年获得巴西Pontifícia大学计算机科学博士学位,现为巴西科技部计算科学国家实验室研究员。主要研究领域包括数值分析、计算流体力学、计算电磁场理论和偏微分方程等,特别是非线性耦合流、非连续Galerkin方法、有限元分析等方面。
