摘要： Full-waveform inversion has become a powerful tool for subsurface characterization and reservoir monitoring. I will give an overview of our newly developed acoustic- and elastic-waveform inversion methods using various regularization schemes including a modified total-variation regularization scheme and compressive sensing, and a new multi-scale inversion approach. I will also present our new elastic-waveform inversion method combining with least-squares reverse-time migration.
