摘要：In this talk, we will present some existence results of $2\pi$-periodic solutions of the equation $$ u'' + u = \displaystyle{\frac{a(x)}{u^3}},$$ where $a$ is a positive smooth $2\pi$-periodic function. This equation is related to several problems in geometry such as curve shortening flow, $L_p$-Minkowski problem.The results reported in this talk are based on joint works with Liping Wang and Juncheng Wei.
