摘要Quantum interference is the heart of quantum mechanics. In this talk, I will briefly describe the duality quantum computer (DQC) which was proposed a decade ago [1].  The DQC is based on the particle wave duality properties of quantum systems and has attracted much attention recently [1-9]. Simply put it, A DQC is a quantum computer moving through a multi-slits. The wave function of a moving quantum computer is divided into several sub-waves. In different slits, one can perform different unitary operations on the sub-waves. These sub-waves are then combined. In this way, one can perform non-unitary evolution such as U_1+U_2 where U_i is a unitary evolution operator. In DQC, there are two new operations that is absent in a quantum computer: the quantum wave division operation (QWD) and quantum wave combinor (QWC) operation. The QWD operation splits a wave function into many identical sub-waves with attenuated coefficients.    

 

报告人简介:龙桂鲁教授,物理系副主任。1982年在山东大学获学士学位,1987年在清华大学获博士学位。1989-1993年英国Sussex大学博士后。龙桂鲁教授从事量子通信和量子计算研究,代表成果:(1)在国际上首次提出量子安全直接通信,开拓和发展了量子通信的新方向;(2)提出量子搜索算法相位匹配,构造了零失败率的量子搜索算法,改进了著名的Grover量子算法;(3)提出了分布量子通信思想,促进了该研究方向的发展;(4)实现了7个量子比特的核磁共振量子算法和多个重要量子算法。

发表论文200余篇,论文被引用9000余次, 个人H因子421998年获得国家自然科学三等奖,2003年获得国家杰出青年基金,2008年获得Thomson Reuters卓越研究奖,2009年获得饶毓泰物理奖,2011年获得教育部自然科学一等奖。2013年获得国家自然科学二等奖。

    他是英国物理学会会士(IoP Fellow)、美国物理学会的会士(APS Fellow)。中国物理学会常务理事、亚太物理联合会副主席、国际纯物理与应用物理联合会(IUPAPC13副主席。

    他担任包括多个期刊的编委,包括《科学通报》副主编,《中国科学》副主编,Nature子刊LightScience & Application的编委。
